In response to a friend of mine who asks about our intervention to correct the behavior of someone we love if we see them in a dark place ...

you can support the other person as much as you want ... But support could only take place when the other person wants to change.

As long as they have they capacity to think for themselves...you need to accept their choices.

That's love in my opinion...

Otherwise you will be dragged in a consuming relationship that will cause you and them harm
